Department: Machine Shop / Assembly
Location: Bhunava (Gondal)
Key Responsibilities – Assembly / Machine Shop
- Execute mechanical assembly of machines and sub-assemblies as per drawings, BOM, and work instructions
- Perform fitting, alignment, leveling, and accuracy checks to meet quality standards
- Operate and coordinate machine shop activities (turning, milling, drilling, grinding)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T
- Use measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, dial indicators) accurately
- Ensure adherence to process plans, cycle times, and production schedules
- Identify and report deviations, defects, and improvement opportunities
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, and 5S standards on the shop floor
- Support trial runs, testing, and commissioning of machines
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Stores for smooth workflow
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of components
- Assist in continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives
Suitable for Fresher / Trainee Engineers with strong mechanical fundamentals and shop-floor orientation.
